Leading from the Front: JSF’s Vivaan Hansalia Captains Maharashtra to West Zone Runners-Up, Emerges as Top Scorer

Pune, Maharashtra – Jagdale Sports Foundation (JSF) is immensely proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our very own Vivaan Hansalia, who recently led the Team Maharashtra U-14 squad to a runners-up finish at the highly competitive West Zone U14 Tournament in Gujarat.

Taking on the heavy responsibility of captaincy, Vivaan demonstrated exceptional leadership on the field and absolute dominance with the bat. Leading by example, he concluded the tournament as the Top Run Scorer, proving his ability to handle high-stakes pressure against elite age-group bowling attacks.

The highlight of his spectacular campaign was a mammoth, match-defining knock of 167 runs against Team Saurashtra. This innings was a masterclass in concentration, technical precision, and stamina, anchoring the Maharashtra innings when the team needed it most.

As a direct result of his phenomenal consistency and leadership, Vivaan has officially earned a well-deserved place in the Under-14 West Zone Team for the second consecutive season, cementing his reputation as one of the most promising young talents in Maharashtra.

Speaking on Vivaan’s milestone tournament, his mentor and JSF Coach, Sourabh Jagdale, shared his thoughts on the young captain’s development:

“Vivaan’s performance this season is a testament to his mental resilience and absolute commitment to the process. Balancing the immense pressure of captaining a state side while simultaneously anchoring the batting order is incredibly demanding for a young player. We have worked extensively on compartmentalizing those two roles so he can stay completely present in the moment. Seeing him execute that marathon 167-run knock against a tough Saurashtra attack shows just how much his match temperament has matured. He didn’t just chase a result; he trusted his routines and built a masterclass innings.”

The entire JSF family congratulates Vivaan on a glorious season and wishes him the absolute best as he prepares to represent the West Zone team. His journey continues to be a shining example of the JSF high-performance culture.
